Built from Scratch
Part producer, part beatmaker, part skratcher; DJ M•ROK is a musical triple threat on vinyl and in the studio.

DJ M•ROK started scratching and creating beats in the late ’80s and early ’90s during hip hop’s golden era. He created the first-ever rap radio show at Boston University, performed as a scratch DJ for Mikey to the P and the Dirty Deets and created/hosted “Beat Vandals” — an online radio show dedicated to scratch music and turntablism — on Graffiti Kings radio. His first show alone captured more than 43,000 listeners worldwide.

Needle to the Groove
DJ M•ROK has performed as a resident DJ for Marriott Hotels in Connecticut and at venues across the Midwest, including Beat Kitchen, Trophy Room Chicago, Two Bros. Roundhouse, The Patio Theater, Wise Owl Drinkery & Cookhouse, Chop Shop Chicago, Naperville Central High School, Pixel Blast Arcade, Bill Jacobs BMW, the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee and more.

Steel Wheels Keep on Turnin’

He’s since released his full-length album, “Wax Nostalgic,” and is currently producing fellow hip hop artists, creating new remixes and is accepting bookings and project collaborations for 2018 and beyond.
